My DS (19mo) has had hand foot and mouth (HFM) over the last week and my DH has also been ill with a v sore throat (two men ill in the same house at the same time - it has been hell!). He was told probable tonsilitis or may be glandular fever.I just read an old thread which said adults can get HFM and it can present differently as a v sore throat. Has anyone had experience of this as a adult - how were you and how long did it take to get better? Thanks
