Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere and I've missed it, but does anyone else have a problem with recurring thrush. It's driving me MAD!!!!!! My husband reckons I've not been the same since I had a Mirena, although the doc reckons that's nothing to do with it. I've used everything there is and it still keeps coming back. I don't have periods (cos of the Mirena) so it's not related to that as I know it is for some women. Any suggestions or do I have to go to the GUM clinic AGAIN!!! I may as well have a regular slot there!!! Thanks.

you can try the Body Ecology Diet... take the online quiz and see what your yeast counts are.

or starve yeast out! by NO wheat, No sugar (no fruits)... canditis thrives on these foods....

I have thrush around once every month, sometimes twice. I take the contraceptive pill, could this have anything to do with reaccuring thrush??
I have had tests done and nothing has come back negative. I dont feel i have it until i have intercourse and my partner decides to tell me two or three days later as he doesnt like to worry me. This DIFLUCAN treatment?...is it a swear by? Also I hate my doctor as i feel like a total pain in the bum revisiting him all the time and getting nowhere. Can i just ask him to refer me to a specialist myself? My mum used to suffer constant thrush until she conceived me, so i think its an inherited problem. Its not so much me feeling rubbish from it, but when my parnter has it his skin cracks on his penis and its very sore and takes a while to heal. Please help x
