Well, I reckon something mad like Christmas Eve, or else about a year's time. Or his birthday?

Once had to take dd2 (age 2 at the time) for ma barium swallow on Christmas Eve.

I can see why it seems like ages to you emkana, I really can but I would have said that was pretty prompt to be honest. You could ask if they could get in touch if there's a cancellation earlier than that, maybe?
