Menieres advice and support

I've been disgnosed with Menieres, and would love to talk to anyone else who is living with this condition. I'm struggling with the unpredictability of the attacks, and just how surreal my life is - when I'm fine, I'm FINE, but the attacks are just so debilitating. I've read a few things on here, such as acupuncture being effective. Any other advice or tips? How many of us are going through this?

My dad has this , it is a horrible condition , but he now has it under control and is so much better. It did take a year or so to get the drug dose right , he is on serk ( spelling?) but it now hardly affects him at all .

His GP was great and worked closely with him to get the dosage right, he also joined the meunieres society who had lots of information etc

Thanks, outtolunch. That gives me hope that I might get on top if it as well. Is diet a big part of the way he manages the condition?

Not really , he doesn't drink coffee and for a while gave up red wine ! He doesn't drink a lot now ,it's trial and error I think .
