Anyone tried agnus castus tablets for PMT?

Did it work, and what dosage were you on?

I took the tincture (20 drops) and it really did help. It takes a while to kick in though. Don't expect to notice a huge difference the first month.

Plan to try it once I have stopped bf, as it says you can't have it while feeding, let me know how it goes too iydm

I used it - the brand was viridian & each capsule contains agnus castus berry extract 200mg & Raw agnus castus berry powder 150mg. Took one a day from mid cycle on and I do think it made a difference - the first month DH accused me of being pregnant as I had been so much better! I used it over the winter as I get SAD and that makes my PMS much much worse.

Definitely worth a try, I think. It's often recommended to take a good vitamin supplement with magnesium at the same time and stick to a low GI diet in the run up to the period to avoid bit swings in blood sugar.

I'd have tried anything - it's one of the few things I like about being pregnant - NO PMS HURRAH!

I found it worked the first month I took it, although moat people are on it 2 or 3 cycles before they notice anything. you take it everyday, not just during PMT week.

dont take if on the pill or anything else hormonal. and remember they can make you more fertile.

yes and it worked. i keep forgetting t take them thou every day.
just the kira brand, one a day.

also its worth buying a decent brand (solgar, quest, higher nature, lifeplan, viridian, bioforce/a.vogel, kordels, country life) to name but a few.
you will get better results than with the lower quality ones like holland barret etc.
