Mouth ulcers

I have had a few of these in the past few weeks. Always on my lower lip.

The current one has been there for four days - it's really quite painful trying to drink and eat.

Any ideas on why I have been getting them? I have been dieting quite strictly - perhaps deficient in vitamins/minerals ?

Is there anything I can put on to soothe it - it's a bit of an awkward position I suppose- just inside my lower lip ?

Vitamin b supplements often help. Lots of rest and try to de-stress.

The best topical application is oral medic - you can buy this in some chemists or online from amazon.

That was a speedy reply tortoise thanks.

I do get lots of rest - and have negligible amounts of stress.

Oral Medic you say? I'll have a look out when I go to pharmacy later. This ulcer is probably on it's way out, feels much less in the way today, but will be good to keep something in stock for the future.

Some reviews suggest it hurts like hell but it's no worse than dabbing salt on it.
