Constant pain around back passage with lump (TMI, sorry)

Yesterday, I developed a sudden pain around my back passage.
Came on totally unexpected, and has been uncomfortable ever since.

Discovered a lump next to my back passage which is not painful to touch in itself, but hurts when I sit down or break wind.

I haven't been to the loo since this happened so not sure if its piles, but is it worth seeing my GP? There is no mucus or anything, just this constant pain ..

Can anybody help? MTIA

Possibly a fissure? Probably best to see your gp.

Could be piles? If the lump looks purple blue colour xx

Thanks for all your replies.

I've been to see my GP and she has confirmed it is indeed piles. Relieved that it is, and nothing more sinister, tbh Wink.
I have some cream now to use and I'm going back to see her in the NY.
