Hi there.
I have (quite literally) a pain in the arse .
2 months ago I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and the most overwhelming pain I experienced was right in my bum. Like-I can only imagine-piles.
Turns out it was bleeding into my rectum . Ouch!!
well-I am in real pain again today with the same thing. Theres a chance I could be pregnant but literally a couple of weeks.

It hurts...any ideas??

In light of the ectopic I think you need to see someone about this as soon as you can.

Can you see a GP today? Otherwise maybe even A&E?

No idea spook, but I'd get down to A&E pronto too given your history.

If it was another ectopic surely it wouldn't hurt again so soon into a (potential) pregnancy??

Only just got back. AFAIK ectopics can 'go' at any point so I wouldn't have thought pain as that far out of the realms of possibility, especially with your recent history. Plesase get yourself checked out, spook. It might be nothing, it might be something that is easily sorted, or it could be something more serious. Either way, you need to know.

Thanks NDP. It has eased bit but I promise to go in immediately if it still hurts tomorrow.
Got a house full of kids here and no chance of docs right now unfortunately.

Please make sure you do keep an eye on it and get medical help as soon as you need it.

FWIW I had ruptured ectopic at just 2 days past af due date. only had + test the day before
It lodged in the narrowest part of my tube hence early rupture
Def get checked out, if not ectopic it could be an adhesion - very common after internal bleeding and surgery - I had ovarian adhesion - agony, easily sorted

Hi everyone. Well just got back from docs and none the wiser I'm afraid. She was flummuxed!!
Had her hands up everything and basically didn't have a clue. Suggests we sit tight till periods due to see if I'm pregnant coz its too early to tell. I will sit tight but it may have to be on a rubber ring.

Glad to read you've been to the doc and that she couldn't find anything that immediately concerned her, but [das] that you have to put up with the pain until your period is due/comes.
