Is this a bad period or ? Sorry if tmi.

I'm worried about this because it started just 20 days after the beginning of my previous period. I started bleeding on Saturday night, which never happens, my period always starts in the morning. I am beeding heavily and getting heavier and have quite bad pains. Also, the blood is very fresh and bright red.

Do periods change when you get to a certain age?
Not that I am a certain age - whatever that is!

Hmmm trust your instincts on this one, if you don't think its a period, get to the quacks straight away, just incase n all that.

This just happened to me, I started another one 15 days after my last one. I am definately of a certain age!! Could it be peri-menopause?

I would go to the doctors and get it checked out.

i have ligh bleeds on the pill and every so often have a heavy one with alot of red fresh blood.just an idea.

Hiya, I went to the docs yesterday pm, but somehow the bleeding just stopped - which amazed me as it was so heavy. She examined my tummy etc and did a pg test which was neg as we thought. She said this does just sometimes happen, and she would examine me properly in a week or so after everything had "settled down". I'm still feeling dreadful but glad I went, for reassurance. Now I'm wondering if this is a sign of an early menopause - I'm nearly 39 so it would be early!
