breast/chest pain

Hi guys.
Im ill off work with a multitude of problems.
Firstly stress re: major financial crisis and self harming 17 yr old dd.
Then I got a d&v virus thing from last Friday which is still draining me - I have a throat infection and massive aches and pains.
Getting out of bed to just pop to loo/make a drink is leaving me exhausted.
The worst bit though is a shooting pain in my right breast (could be in the chest).
Its not permanent, it is more when Ive been up but the Dr didnt seem overly concerned. Its definitely only one side.
I am signed off work until next Tues so have an appointment next monday to see if Im fit to go back but Im getting v paranoid about this pain.
Any idea anyone? Could it be related to a number of my ailments ie ould be stress but could be the virus?

I get this, exactly this. It happens when I'm stressed and anxious, but it's muscular pain in my chest wall caused by tension/sitting badly - I also grind my teeth when stressed which my dentist and GP both say is contributing to it.

Sometimes it radiates out through my breast and makes me worry I have breast cancer (!)

Please try not to worry - the worry is making it worse!

Thanks. Obviously the C word has been the biggest fear (I am SO paranoid sorry I am not minimising symptoms, I wouldnt have a clue).
Its good to hear you suffer similar (not for you obvs but makes me feel better so !)
I dont have good posture and Ive been curled up in bed for days - it wasnt there before then so Im sure its just that.
Own worst enemy :(

Could it be precordial catch syndrome? It's usually on the left but I think some people can get it on the right. I have it and it used to seriously freak me out until I found out what it was.
