dissolvable stitches and baths

I had them put in Monday would it be OK to have a bath later and should I keep them covered ? they're so itchySad

googling seems to offer varying opinions

They take a few weeks to dissolve, and it's the tissue fluid beneath the skin that dissolves them.

Unless you spend the next few weeks in the bath you should be fine Grin

what sort of wound is it?

some are recommended minimal soaking (ie showers) for 6 weeks
