IBS attacks - boiling hot

I'm having increasingly frequent attacks which are horrid. Apart from the intense pain I find that I'm boiling hot and sweaty during an attack and end up stripping my clothes off! Does this happen to anyone else? Does anyone know why it happens?

Me!! I feel like I have to remove clothes or I won't be able to breathe. Almost like a panic attack. I'm also getting it on a daily basis now so I tend to have 2 immodium (shops own brand - cheaper!) a day. My gp says that it's ok to take on a long term basis.

Yep. Sometimes not very long after i have eaten. Its really annoying.

Spike in blood pressure ? Low blood sugar ?

Yes, nearly always after eating.
