"Posturing"/maintaining "face down" position after detached retina

My poor brother is facing his second period of this after getting knocked down by a cyclist while recovering from detached retina surgery .

Has anyone any tips or recommendations for comfort while keeping your head down for 50 out of every 60 mins ?

Was thinking of getting him a V shaped memory foam cushion to lie on top of ....

Any advice ?

Does he have to be face down? Beauty couch with the cut out would be useful. I know that's not affordable. Sorry!

I used my v shaped BF pillow! I sat at the table with thick towel on the table, blanket for my legs then pillow. Tv on with RC and phone (with timer set!!) next to me. Hard hard going, had to do it 4 times and it's amazing what I could get done in those precious 10 mins!!
