Had GA for some eye surgery on Weds and still feel shite!! Apart from eye being very sore just feel sick and dranied. Never had GA before so bit shocked - thought I would be up and about by now. Anyone had a GA recently? Sorry for being a wuss, just have 3 kids and finding it hard (dh went back to work today)

I react HORRIBLY to GA.

I'd phone them up, b/c they can give you something for the nausea.

GAs take longer than most people think to get out of your system. I'm sure you're not being a wuss, it really is hard if you have 3 kids to look after. If I had a GA, I would want at least a week to get over it, even if it had been for a relatively short procedure.

Quite normal
I've had lots of GA's
you feel like you have gone a few rounds with Mike Tyson or being run over.
You notice it more if you're essentially having a minor op with no major surgery.
FWIw I had minor surgeries and the GS was worse than the op
I had some serious lifesaving ones and was far to busy with the after effects of the ops that the GA effects went unnoticed.

Ahh, thought I would be okay the day after. Thanks - am going to lie on the couch and put on Ceebebies then.

I would. And get anyone you can find to make a fuss of you.
