I am now a little over a month post op and was having some pressure over my sternum for the last days. Last night I decided to inspect, as the pressure is turning in to lots of pain, and found a hard lump under the top portion of my scar. On meeting with the surgeons today for a re-check they felt the area informed me what it was and said another surgery would be needed to remove it, due to the fact it is painful and putting pressure on my still healing sternum.
Has anyone had one of these? Did it go away on its own? Did you have it removed? Did it return?
