Google Bartholin's Cyst and see if it's a match. Does it hurt?

Sparklingbrook · 11/11/2014 18:17

Sorry you said it's painless. Blush

I've had these on and off for years, it's most likely nothing to worry about.

Have a look at this link, it gives a good description of all the various lumps that can appear in that area. Cancer is unlikely. www.caredownthere.com.au/_pages/normal_lumps.html

have you tried squeezing it? I know someone who had one once (honestly...) and she said it was a sporners paradise. Even better, it fills up again a few months later. It's the gift which keeps on giving.....

It sounds like a Bartholins cyst. They can come and go. A small op can sort it out so that it drains and doesn't get infected again.

SageSeymour · 11/11/2014 23:00

It's a spot.

Lushlush · 14/11/2014 13:29

It might be a 'mucolele' - ds (who is 9) has had one on the inside of his lip for 2 years we have been to the GP 3 times over this time period. They made nothing of it and said if it starts to hurt or grows then come back otherwise do not worry.
