Urgh, two of my close colleagues have come down with a cold this week and today I have the dreaded scratchy throat which means I'm likely to be the next victim........Is there ANYTHING I can do now to ward it off? I dont want to be ill over the weekend!!

Try Vicks First Defence. It hurst your nose but usually works for me, at least for a while (I often get another cold a week or so later instead).

Ibuprofen and lots of warm drinks works for me (I think, but then maybe I wasn't going to get the cold anyway Hmm )

Echinacea is supposed to lessen the severity. Take zinc & 1000mg Vit C.
Hope you feel better soon.

Green tea, vits, early night even if it means pre-prepared supper and ignoring housework.

Echinacea tincture, and definitely a good probiotic, gut bacteria are 70% of your immunity!
