11 month old diarrhoea - feed or not?

i'm getting conflicting advice from baby books - one says keep going with bland meals, formula/bf another says water only. dd is 11 months old and has had 3 diarrhoea-y nappies today, one this morning and then two within an hour of each other late this aft. was planning to offer boiled pots mashed up a bit for tea...with bf last thing before bed. no fruit today! she is happy and has no vomiting. anyone got any experience/thoughts?

sounds like she isn't actually ill, maybe has some teeth cutting. I would carry on feeding but avoid dairy and acidic fruits as they can irritate the gut.

have checked nhs direct website and it says keep feeding. i nipped out for some dioralyte but box says not to be given to infants without medical supervision. i don't think she needs rehyrdration fluids yet - got them incase she got worse overnight - but was surprised to see that as checked with pharmasist that it'd be ok for dd.
