Hi my dad is in his 70's & has just been diagnosed with arthritis in his spine and pelvis. The doctors can't do much apart from prescribe pain killers which don't touch it he's in a lot of pain when he walks.
I'm just looking for advice on what he can do to help the pain I was also thinking about getting him some fish oils Any advice greatly appreciated

Thankyou for your replies the walking stick might support him but it's the pain that's getting him down.. I don't think the Dr referred him for physio I will look into it... I'm just wondering if a supplement would help i.e fish oils? It must be agony :(

Please be careful with a walking stick.
I bought a few,"trendy," ones as I didn't like my NHS crutches.
I ended up with really bad back pain & back on the crutches; they give a much better posture.
Hope you get something sorted for him, constant pain is miserable.
