I can't relax. No idea why. Have medical issues and lots of tablets but still in a fair amount of pain. Have a few money worries because of losing my job. But I just can't relax. What can I do to help me?

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Are you able to exercise? I think it could help.

Google Jon Kabat Zinn for mindfulness downloads. He specialises in pain. It does take work, though.

Sorry you are still suffering. You know where we are if you need us.xx

Thank you I will look

Can't do much at all at the minute. Dh said to try yoga! But I can't switch off. I don't go out the house very often and never alone. So if I did go somewhere I would have to go with someone else

Binaural beat meditations are helpful: go to youtube and search for audioentrainment. this is the one I use. There's quite a lot to choose from - a basic relaxing or sleep meditation will do.

What happens is that you listen with earphones and the meditation works to entrain your brain to a theta frequency (daydeaming) or a delta frequency - sleep. You don't have to 'meditate' in the established sense.

I've had years of tension/anxiety and have used binaural beats a lot and have found them very useful. I sarted by buying an expensive one (called holosync, centerpoint meditation) but now I can get what I need on you tube.
