I have a range of symptoms that my gp treats independently of one another but does anyone recognise a pattern or illness in these symptoms? I am just so fed up of being ill. I have severe hyperhydrosis that has no specific trigger and as part of that I have little temperature control; I have frequent cystitis and diarrhea; I have vulval vestibulitis and the skin on my vagina splits daily for no obvious reason; I have severe eczema and generally controlled asthma; my neck and head lymph nodes are always swollen; I always have a bunged up nose; I have wrist pain in both wrists; I bruise very easily and have lots of thread veins. I know that's a whole range of symptoms but I didn't want to leave anything out. My GP treats each symptom but I just wonder whether something bigger is going on. My bloods are largely normal but i have slightly high readings for inflammation and a low IGM. My blood pressure is slightly high and my BMI is 23. I am in my mid 30s and not menopausal. Thank you for reading this.

What is hyperhydrosis?

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 23/10/2014 00:12

Have you ever had a second opinion from a Consultant?

I have absolutely no idea what might be wrong but it does seem unusual for such a young person to have such a collection of ailments, unless they are connected in some way.

Excessive sweating Idiotdh.

Hyperhydrosis is severe sweating. My gp always says she can't refer me as i don't fit any specialism and no individual issue requires referral. It's all very frustrating.

I would say you need a referral to a Rheumatologist as if your inflammatory markers are raised then that is possibly linked to your lymph nodes. Do you suffer with lack of sleep, fatigue, sensitivity to certain noises, smells or situations? Also is the Hyperhidrosis just on your hand, feet and arm pits?

HelpCozINeedSomebody · 23/10/2014 00:26

Yes to fatigue, insomnia and major sensitivity to smell. The hyperhydrosis is worst on my scalp, chest, neck and back but it really is all over- legs, feet, hands, face. Rheumatology sounds like it might be a good start, thanks.
