I have the ultimate treatment, the juice from a dandelion stem ....honest.

dd had a terrible problem with warts, tried all treatments, dr was threatening to burn them off, then some bloke at a BBQ said that he had a problem as a boy and to try this.

So got a dandelion and rubbed the inside of the stem all over the warts, they went within a couple of weeks completely and have never returned.

Good luck

Also the juice/milk from fig branches - have no idea why, but it works, same as the dandelion stem -
Only trick is to find a fig tree!

mosschops30 - did you just have to rub it on once, or every day?

EnidMyers · 02/10/2006 10:12

will try on the ones on her face

how often with the rubbing?

I just did it once, but gave it a good soak with the juice and rubbed it for a few minutes.

I couldnt believe it when they went, I was amazed

Homeopathy wise Thuja is good for warts as is neat tea tree (a tiny bit)and then a plaster left on tightly so that the wart gets very little air.It is a sign of reduced immunity so also worth giving her a good multi vitamin

Anyone tried any of these treatments on molluscum warts? My ds 13mths has quite few on face and arms, horrible. dr says could last up to 2yrs and just have to wait.

Enid, just did a search as my mate's son is covered on his torso. Found calc carb - homeopathic treatment, is supposed to be good. They did a trial on it and thuja was good for warts, calc carb for molluscum.

DD1 has many warts on her feet - will try dandelion sap. Might try tea tree too as that has got rid of impetigo for us. Had no idea it could be used on warts. This could save me a fortune in plasters...dd1 is self conscious about the state of her feet and goes through tons.

CountessDracula · 02/10/2006 14:27

I will try too, dd has one on her finger

JoPG · 02/10/2006 15:12

Do you think the dandelion thing would work for veruccas aswell?
If not, has anyone got any good ideas for getting rid of them?

(hope you don't mind me asking on this thread, EnidMyers?)
