I need help with food

Hi

This may be long but I need to write it down.

Over the last 18 months I have lost 4 stone and now weigh 10 stone (am 5ft8) it was pregnancy weight I was loosing.

at my thinnest when I had a bad break up and stressful time I weighed 8 stone. It's fair to say I was poorly and controlled food to help my anxiety.

Problem is I have a rectocele following 3 vaginal births. I have lots of problems going to the toilet and chronic constipation.

If I fast (I did 5:2 before) I feel great and some how find it easier to go to the loo and feel empty etc however now I get terrible sugar lows and have nearly passed out so have to eat.

When I eat I feel sick. I had thought perhaps gluten was responsible so cut it out but to limited benefit.

At Christmas last the gp felt my abdomen and suggested gasteroparosis and prescribed some thing to help the nausea and my tummy work.
Since then I've felt on and off better but for the last 3 / 4 months I feel terrible when I eat and when I don't I feel light headed etc and have lost weight

I'm now trapped with tummy ache if I eat, nausea and bloating and constipation.

If I don't eat I drop down to 9stone6 and feel light headed. I can't seem to find a happy medium of things I can eat etc and I'm miserable. Everything is becoming a battle with food and I hate it.

I need to go back to my Gp but is there something I can do?

Back to GP
Blood sugar lows - when you do eat, avoid quick release foods like sugary stuff, or white carbs. Eat small amounts of protein and grains
I would avoid "gassy" veg too
Have you noticed it's worse with any particular food?

I try not to eat processed carbs so no pasta / bread / cake etc then I feel instantly sick

Hmmm
How about things like plain Greek yoghurt and berries, or boiled eggs, or steamed chicken with carrots/peas etc, porridge
Definitely not right though, I would be seeing GP as soon as you can

I don't think that fasting is natural and i think avoiding sugar crashes as well is important. So eat food, not to much mostly plants :-) www.amazon.co.uk/Food-Rules-An-Eaters-Manual/dp/0141048689
