Hi, does anyone have the above? Would be interested to hear from anyone who does, how it affects you, was diagnosed and what helps.

I'm wondering if I'm suffering. Something definitely isn't right!!!

I've been on the contraceptive implant for years, continued with it to control my periods really as they used to be incredibly heavy and painful. But the one currently in my arm should have been changed a while back (I know!) but I didn't get round to it as finding time was hard. My periods have now come back over the past couple of months and the implant has clearly expired!!!

Anyway, I am having days of crying for no reason, feeling as low as I possibly could really, self pitying, feeling like a waste of space, feeling like everyone sees me that way or is hiding things from me. I can get angry quite quickly and easily and snap at people (via email, thankfully!!!) and have possibly hurt someone I care for very much. When that happens, after whatever has set it off (I get totally irrational) I cry, think about other things that have upset me and feel a little like an out of control child or teen feeling a little scared and unable to stop myself. I could sleep forever but can be restless during the day and lacking in motivation.

Once my period arrives it settles.

I wasn't sure what it was to start with and was more concerned but after last months bout, I've had a bad week, yesterday was a big blow off for me,today I haven't been feeling great but the cramps have just started. Same as the past two times this has happened. So I'm thinking it's either PDD or really bad PMS.

I also only seem to be going about 3 weeks max between periods.

Yes, I know I need to see my doc but I could do with hearing from others, preferably before I screw things up with people

I have just starting having acupunture. The Dr recommended me to take Magnesiuim. I usually get a bad headache the day my period starts. I feel very low & snappy. This month I had no headache or bad cramps & didn't feel so bad. Vit B & Evening primrose oil is supposed to help too.
