Son's abdominal pain

My 12 yo DS has been complaining about pain in his lower RH abdomen for a few weeks now.
He can be a bit of a worrier!
In the last 3 years I've had a bad accident & become disabled, & had breast cancer and a mastectomy, he's had counselling for anxiety.
He always goes the full-blown drama over anything now, but I am genuinely concerned about these abdominal pains as we can be doing anything, (this evening laughing at my Steve Backshall obsession on Strictly), & he's suddenly clutched his side & said how much it hurts.
I'm torn, is this real, (I don't want to feed his need to be going to the Drs), or do I just ignore?

Could be a grumbling appendix so prob best to get it checked.

Sorry that your last 3 years have been so tough Flowers

Yes, that's what I'd wondered. Trouble is, after everything, DS is such a worried that he tends to make something out of anything & I'm worried about him & don't want to feed his anxieties.

Take him to the doc's or call out of hours; they have ways of telling if it's appendicitis and better safe than sorry. better to reassure him too i think.
