Coeliac testing?

Last year I had blood test (negative), then a biopsy taken, which was also negative. I was tested due to unexplained anaemia.
Anyway, I now have a new doctor, who still suspects coeliac and says that just eating normally before testing isn't enough - that you have to have a massively gluten heavy diet in the couple of weeks leading up to it in order to get a true result. Is she right? She's wanting to retest and says she will give me a diet sheet to follow. I've never heard this before..

Will be watching with interest. I'm being tested next week and have been stuffing myself with gluten. I feel utterly crap but want to be sure the result is a true one.

Have a look at :

www.coeliac.ie/coeliac_disease/getting_diagnosed

"It is important to be on a gluten containing diet before testing in order to ensure the most accurate result. Four slices of ordinary bread a day for six weeks or more should be sufficient."

She's right. I've heard this from others
