Anyone know what this is?

Noticed DD (15) had blood on her face yesterday which appeared to come from one small scab. Today several more of the scabs have appeared. Any ideas what this is?!

There are no blisters though. Would impetigo be itchy as she isn't experiencing any pain / itchiness Confused? She had shingles on her face 4 years ago and I'm wondering whether it could be that again..

Last time she had shingles the presentation was different though, she had no other symptoms apart from raised lumps that later went red. Confused DNephew (19) is staying with us until Christmas as part of his gap year and hasn't had chicken pox, so I am a bit concerned ..
