Headaches

I've been having really bad headaches a lot over the past few weeks (maybe 6 weeks). I have tried to sort out the obvious causes I could think of, so I've been drinking plenty of water/squash to avoid dehydration, I've been getting plenty of sleep to avoid fatigue, I've had my eyes tested and now have new glasses, I'm trying to avoid too much working with screens but that's not completely possible due to work.

Are there any more obvious causes that I could work to eliminate before I go to see the gp? I feel as if I would be wasting both of our time seeing a gp about headaches but they're bad enough that I'm taking paracetamol and ibuprofen most days and that can't be good for me.

Are you stressed, anxious or tense? This usually causes headaches.

Do you have any other symptoms?

I don't really feel stressed or tense.

I'm sometimes feeling nauseous with the headache but not usually, occasionally I've felt quite light-headed and sort of disconnected from myself if that makes sense.

Thank you for answering
