Good first aid/medical book

Does anyone have or know of a good all round fisrt aid /medical book? One that's good to have around to check on things like hight temps, colds, signs of illnes and more serious things like burns desises etc. I think it would be a good thing to have.

The BMA Children's Medical Guide (Dorling Kindersley, 1998, £9.99) has flow-charts to enable you to decide what combination of symptoms might be leading where (ie to a dash to casualty or a night on the calpol). I find it a very reassuring (and accurate) guide for almost any small child's health problem. Nice close-up colour snaps of rashes too...
