Does anyone know of someone going on to have a full blown stroke after having a TIA.

People who have Tias are at higher risk of stroke - why do you ask?

I know someone who has had one this year and refuses to take meds. in complete denial and says doctor has it wrong. Cancelled all further appointments with consultants. Has a fasting cholesterol of 8.1.

Unfortunately someone who had a TIA is indeed at higher risk of a big stroke. Hope they change their mind about treatment and follow-up.
