Impetigo

Our one year old has Impetigo, which we believe she picked up at her first birthday party this weekend.
We have oral medicine for her, but it is a nightmare getting her to take it. It tastes grim!! I have tried a syringe, putting it in jam, putting it in milk, but no luck.
Does anyone have any advise for treating impetigo and getting little ones to take medicine!!!

My DD has had impetigo. We were prescribed Fucidin, an antibiotic cream, and it cleared up really quickly. Maybe you could ask your GP to prescribe that.

Thank you so much. We are persevering with the medicine and she seems happier within herself. If there is no improvement I will go on the hunt for the cream. It's hard keeping up with washing her sheets, towels, blankets constantly! X
