Mercilon and breakthrough bleeding

I'm on my third pack of Mercilon and still getting breakthrough bleeding. The only time there is no bleeding at all is the first week after I start a new pack. Does anyone have experience of how long this takes to settle? I was on Mercilon before ds1 and between ds1 and ds2 and never had this problem. Ds2 is 10 months now and I stopped feeding at 7months.

TBH I never found a pill with combined or not that I didn't get breakthrough bleeding with my periods got progressively heavier after the dc so I wonder if that is why you are getting breakthrough bleeding now whereas you didn't before?

Possibly, my periods have always been heavy but since ds 1 they are heavy enough to be almost unmanageable.

once my family was complete I ended up having ablation, I even bleed on the mirena!!!!
