Never been great since dd2, and i suffer with stress incontinence. At moment I've got a hacking cough and every time I cough I manage to flood the place. I should have shares in tena lady Blush
If I went to my gp what would happen? I know I shouldn't be embarrassed but I'm mortified.

someone on Mn left this link a while back and I had a look. Michelle is brilliant and will answer your questions on the site- anon.

www.pelvicexercises.com.au/about-michelle-kenway/

There are loads of instructions and even videos on the site showing you what to do.

It might take 6 months but she says you ought to get some improvement in a few weeks.

3 x 10 squeezes every day but read all the info so you do them properly.

p,s, your GP could refer you to a women's physio where they will teach you to do the exercises, and may even give you some electrical stimulation - you didn't expect that on the NHS did you?

Give a shout out for Gussiegrips- she's on here.

here she is on Youtube

Thanks for your replies. I do go through phases of doing the exercises but am dreadful at remembering to keep them up.
Great you tube clip.
Think a physio is the way forward...

I think Michelle has devised some sort of reminder app that you can download.
One tip someone told me was every time you have a cuppa- ie 5 times a day maybe?

scandichick · 27/09/2014 10:48

You can get apps on your phone as well, if that helps? They both remind you and tells you how long to do the exercises for.

gamerchick · 27/09/2014 10:53

Yes you should do the exercise but they may not be enough.

Go to your gp.. you'll wish to had done it a lot sooner.
