Itchy, raised mole. Emergency GP appointment or wait until next normal appointment?

As title really. I've only noticed over the last couple of days, but the mole is quite itchy and is now slightly raised where before it was flat.

Next available routine appointment isn't until 7th Oct- I can get an emergency on the day one, but would I look ridiculous doing that?

Sorry, just realised that sounds a bit muddled. GPS surgery have several appointments available daily, but they're supposed to be kept for urgent cases.

It is urgent. You'll be climbing the walls by the 7th october. Our surgery also has a walk in and wait between 8 & 11.

I have also recently noticed I have a mole that has become raised and itches like hell all the time. It's quite small and doesn't look irregular but it's still worrying me a bit. I'm going to call my doctor on Monday and make an appointment.

Hope it works out for you and turns out to be harmless.

This is worrying, but it isn't actually an emergency.

Do they triage at your surgery? Or failing that, ask for an appointment with the practice nurse first.

Not an emergency.....but 7th October is a while away.
