Hurt wrist - X-ray?

I fell up the stairs a couple of days ago and put my hands out to stop myself.

Last night my wrist was very sore and a little swollen. At 4am I was awake and it was throbbing and now it's a constant dull ache but not agonising.

Do you think it's worth popping up to minor injuries?

With my palm down, I have pain from the middle of my wrist in towards my thumb and just below the middle of my wrist I have a little dent.

Or will I be wasting everyone's time?

Go get it x rayed.

An op hurt her leg the other day, and was walking on it. It was actually broken.

If you go minor injuries will they xray there? Or will they tell you to go to A&E?

Oh yes, I remember that thread.

I'm assuming that minor injuries have X-ray facilities - our local A&E closed down recently, will check where I need to go
