any ideas what this might be?

I have a six day old baby which may or may not be relevant. I have a very itchy rash that appears to be spreading. It is very bumpy and a bit red. It started just on the back of my hand but is now on both hands, tops of both legs, bum, bottom of both legs, one arm.

Get a GP appointment - could be an allergy, anemia, thyroid, kidney problems... Lots of things and it might be related to recent pregnancy. Always best to get checked out! Even if it's a minor thing (very likely), you might get something to settle it down.

I had that after (and before! itchy!!!!) having DS. Infuriating, isn't it? Could be hormone related. I had antihistamines prescribed by gp which took the edge off and it cleared up after a couple of weeks. Congratulations on your baby!
