Thoughts pls gone from 1 extreme to another!

Ok 3 weeks ago I had a blood test which showed I was very hyper thyroid the blood test was repeated 1 week ago which shows I am now extremely hypo thyroid!
My gp is stumped and is writing to endo and re doing bloods in 2 weeks.
Any ideas would be appriciated.

hashimotos involves swings from one side to the other as your thyroid is slowly giving up. every now and then it works in fits and starts
