What on earth is wrong with my nose?

I've had what I can only describe as a sore on the inside tip of my nose. It's inside my right nostril. It's been there for about 2 months!

It started almost like a boil-in-the-making (IYSWIM) and the tip of my nose on the outside was red and tender, then the inside (in the same area) had the tiniest of sores that gradually became slightly bigger.

It feels like (sorry sorry sorry!) a crusty snot in that place all the time, and it's never gone. It's still bloody sore, inside and out.

I have no clue what it could be!

Dp had that and it was basically a boil, staph a and he had to have a course of antibiotics.

So, a boil but on on the inside?

You need some Naseptin cream from docs, will clear it up in a day or so.

Thanks both. I'll try to get to my GP ASAP. Tonight it's really sore, so am really wanting to sort it out.

I had exactly the same, ignored it and ended up with cellulitis

Looked like Rudolph got 2 weeks!

iv had the same thing several times. Dr gives me Naseptin and its clears up in a few days
