Last night my sister noticed a white patch of skin on the back of my neck. It feels smooth and is painless. Any ideas?

Could it be vitiligo? It's an auto immune disease, a la Michael Jackson, which affects your skin pigmentation. I got it after ds2, apparently can be triggered by pregnancy.

www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Vitiligo/Pages/Introduction.aspx for more info.

Are you having any steroid treatment? My son has keloid scaring, we were told if he had steroid injections there was a high chance he would get this.

Just read that. Does sound like it could be. I recently was pregnant (had mmc), so that could have triggered it. Will make apt with go.

I have it on my neck and my right arm and hand. It hasn't got any worse, but you have to be very careful in the sun.
