Strange feeling in stomach

I have this strange feeling in stomach, actually had for like last month or so and it's got worse. I feel like there's pressure and I almost feel full. I go from being normal ( relatively flat stomach) to being bloated but then it goes again. I though maybe it was gas and that was why it felt like pressure in different places, but not so sure now. I wouldn't exactly say it's particularly painful it's just abit uncomfortable. I was wondering if anyone had had anything like this and if they had, did you find out what it was?

I'm not sure if a hiatus hernia, excess acid or ulcer might give those symptoms. As it's being going on for a while best to get it checked out.

If it's possible you could be pregnant then no harm ruling that out.

Thanks kitty for your response, I have looked on the NHS website to see the symptoms of a hernia but didn't seem to match that well. I'd feel a bit silly going to the doctor as like I said it doesn't hurt so seems almost harmless.

Amy, I had thought about pregnancy but as me an my ex broke up back at the end of January if I was I'd be 8 months pregnant, so seems pretty unlikely as I've had regular periods and like I said flat stomach and when I had my son, although I was not massive I still looked pregnant.

Fair enough! I reckon you're safe on that front then. Could you have suddenly developed a food intolerance?

chockbic · 10/09/2014 16:06

Where is the feeling specifically?

Is it burning, stabbing, gnawing?

Candycharm · 10/09/2014 16:39

The feeling is a bit like pressure that comes and goes, it doesn't hurt.
