She has been complaining of tummy ache and had a lot of wind for a couple of days following a minor bout of diarrhoea on Monday (she has had normal poos since)

She now has a temperature and is lying very pale and floppy on the sofa saying her tummy hurts. It is in the middle so not worried about appendicitis but wondering if I shoudl call a dr as she is really very ill looking and won't eat (not surprisingly I suppose)

Normally when she is ill she is fine iykwim.

She is just 4 btw

Personally if it was me, I would call the doctor, more so because she is listless and floppy.

Hope she gets better soon.

CD, my ds and dd had vile bug with diarrhoea and loads of wind...it went, then came back, then went again. How high is her temp?

Radley · 23/09/2006 18:19

I know what you mean about weekend service. Here the doctors completely refuse to come out, no matter what the reason/symptoms etc. What makes is worse is that the surgery you have to go to is very very secluded, near a bus station etc and sometimes you have to wait 10 minutes for them to open the door.

Not good when there have been 4 rapes round here in the last 2 weeks.

if she is pale and floppy, with tummy pain, dont take any chances, call gp out or go to casualty

CountessDracula · 23/09/2006 19:48

shortly after I last posted she perked up and her temp came down thank goodness.

She is still rather poorly but has gone to bed so hope she will be better in teh am. Dinny sounds like she has what your dcs had, thanks everyone
