My dd's 2nd period is lasting three weeks

My 14 yr old is having her 2nd period which started 2.5 weeks ago. The first 3 days were light, then 2 days moderate and since then spotting. Is this normal for the first few periods? Her first period was heavy for 10 days. I can't really remember what my first periods were like and am getting a bit worried. Please help.

My first were very long and painful, getting shorter as I got older. The longest was 10 days, but 2.5 weeks sounds like a long time.
