Hello all I'm new here and this is my first post so please excuse me if I do it wrong!
I'm currently 19 weeks pg and had thrush 5 weeks ago. I had a pessary which mostly got rid of it but then it came back with a vengeance. 2.5 weeks ago I went to my GP who gave me 2 more pessaries to take 2 days apart. This seemed to kick it, the itchiness went away.
Since then though (sorry if there's tmi) it's been painful to have sex, twice I have been uncomfortable for a whole day afterwards and yesterday we had to stop half way through as I was v sore. This morning I have noticed a little split in between the inner and outer lips on one side which was REALLY sore in the shower!
Is this because of the thrush, did it never really go away? Dh did use the cream too so I didn't expect to get it back from him....
I might go back to the doc on monday anyway but it would be nice to hear if anyone else has had the same thing?
