Lansoperazole

Has anyone had any problems taking lansoperazole? I was put on it by my GP for indigestion after having my gallbladder out. It helped at first but, for the last few weeks, I've felt nauseous, tired, bloated constipated and just generally yuck.

I saw another GP who has referred me for an endoscopy with a view to increasing the lansoperazole depending on the results. He told me I'd have to stop taking the lansoperazole for at least 2 weeks so, although I won't have to time to have the endoscopy until November (I have BUPA so can have it when it's convenient), I decided to stop taking them straight away.

Since I stopped taking them I've felt a whole lot better. I'm still slightly nauseaous (I had a migraine yesterday so that's not helped) and a little bload but I'm not bunged up and feel as though I've got much more energy. When I checked the leaflet all of my symptoms are listed as side effects. I've made an appointment with my usual GP for when I'm back from holiday to discuss everything and see whether I actually need the endoscopy.

Has anyone else found they felt worse on tablets that were supposed to make them feel better?

Sorry for the long rambling post!
