has anyone got any ideas/suggestions that i can use to stop my little boy being sick when he goes to bed tonight? he told me he had belly ache at 4pm then around 4.15pm started throwing up fluidy bile.he's still doing it and keeps wrenching to be sick and not bringing anything up or only bringing watery stuff up.ive covered his mattress with a waterproof sheet but has anyone got any ideas how i can prevent him being so sick when he's asleep? he only has one pillow and wont sleep with two so i cant really prop his head up.i worry about him choking on it.does anyone think i should keep him downstairs as long as possible tonight so i can monitor it or is it best to get him settle into bed at normal time.he's already tires.he hasnt got a temperature even though he feels hot, ive checked that with the ear thermometer.
any suggestions? i suppose it'll just have to run its course

Hi! perhaps by bedtime he will have stopped being sick cos if he's throwing up bile now, there can't be much left in his stomach. The only thing i can think of is to try and prop him up, but if he won't tolerate it then not alot else. I'm afraid it might be a sleepless night sorry can't be anymore help!

thanks.he's fell asleep on the setee so i think i'll gwt some tea while hes sleep and get my other child to bed in a bit then leave little one downstairs until i go up to bed.ive made a bed up n the floor of their room so i can hear him if he's sick.he's still bringing it all up before he fell asleep.hopefully we'll have a better day tomorrow.

my ds slept from 6.15pm approx and i took him up to bed at 9.30pm.he hasnt been sick since around 6 last night but he's moaning about his belly still.only giving him plain water and he's had 1 rich tea finger as his brother was having breakfast and he said he was hungry.hopefully we'll be able to control it today with little bits of water here and there and an odd biscuit during the day just so he's not disressed from being STARVING! he's not got a headache too so dont know quite whats wrong with him.he still hasnt got a temp.
