Another mum here who needs to shape up. DD2 now almost 6 months, still breastfeeding and I don't care what anyone says it doesn't shift the pounds! Am actually not too bad, about 11 lbs away from pre-pregnancy weight but dreadfully out of shape with wobbly tummy, arms, bum, you name it.

Pre-pregnancy I actually got into a little routine of a Rosemary Conley dvd and swim 3 times a week, have just managed a swim this morning as dh is home to look after the girls but have to confess to scoffing home-made chocolate brownies (fab recipe courtesy of mumsnet) after the swim! I am promising myself that this week I will take out that tummy toner thingy from behind the settee and put it to use. How do you get rid of wobbly arms?

Pacinofan....get the Nell McAndrews Ultimate challenged DVD...my arms felt like they would be falling off after I did it...however, I am sure it's gonna work a treat

I was going to start tonight and do the whole dvd but ive only just managed to put dd2 down.She kept waking coughing.
Hope i get a chance tomorrow.

Can I join too? Have just ordered Nell, she was on 2 for 1 on amazon, just waiting for dvd to arrive, have half a stone to go - not to bothered about the weight tbh, what I don't like is when I catch site of my relaxed self in a window or similar and look like I'm still preggers - how can 1/2 stone look like a whole?!
Good riddance muffin tops.....Wow easy to be motivated before dvd has arrived!

Oh God Yes ! I need to get back into the gym, I pay membership every bloody month and I haven't been for nearly 12 months & @ myself

I have a Rosemary Conley DVD and a Pilates DVD, neither of which have been touched for about year.

I used to go to the gym 4x a week and do a dvd at least twice a week. What happened ?!

Well, I did mt tae Bo Ags and Gluts DVD and afterwards still felt like doing a bit more and did Nell McAndrews Ultimate challenge the workout 1 and 3...good combo

Excuse number 245: Was too knackered to do Davina dvd tonight but did take a full part in the country dancing lesson today (much to my class's amusement!) Aiming to do the dvd tomorrow!

I did a few minutes on the Lateral thigh trainer! Forgot i had it stuffed in the corner!
Will try to do davina tomorrow night.

dont laugh but i have found a great new exercise.... its fun and very conditioning... pole dancing. It is great for upper body strength and core strength. You get to use muscles that you never would ever think existed
