Thyroid recently checked, all OK. Not pregnant. My diet is OK, probably a bit carb / protein heavy, and low in dairy and fruit and veg. No actual restrictions, but this is what I like. The carbs I eat are mostly wholemeal bread (2-4 slices a day) plus one portion of either white rice, white pasta or potato per day. I do eat snacks like chocolate, crisps most days, though not loads.
Last night I had a reasonable portion of home made chilli (lean mince, onion, tinned tomatoes, kidney beans, spices) and home made wedges (I guess around 2 table spoons of each) plus some broccoli. I ate it all, then 10 minutes later was really hungry again. I drank a pint of water, hoping that it would go away. It did not.
