My hearing is muffled.

Hello.

I woke up this morning and I can hear but it's muffled. The best way to describe it is the sound when you hold a sea shell to the ear.

What could this be? Am I going deaf?

Do you have a cold or earache? Could be an ear infection, or just bunged up with a cold. Either way I would get a doctors appointment to be on the safe side if it hasn't gone back to normal yet.

Poor you. Could be Tinnitus caused by earwax or something else. Best get it checked out.
