Dd2 is 14 and a few days ago said she had a lump downstairs. I said it was probably just a spot and to leave it and see what happened. Anyway she said she squeezed it and some gunk came out but now it is bigger and really sore.

She wants me to do something about it but is refusing to go to the doctors if they will want to look at it. She has an unstable emotions personality disorder so the usual 'you will go and thats that' won't work.

She's convinced herself it is a sebacous cyst and it will become cancerous and she'll die.

Is there anything else I can get her to try at home to get rid of it ?

Hot baths with salt or holding a hot flannel on it may help draw it up. If a head appears then you need to pierce with a sterile needle. Squeeze gently holding tissue either side. Keep turning tissue after each squeeze so any bacteria can't re enter the blood stream. Put anti septic cream on afterwards.

Thank you KittyKat, I will get her to try that.
