Raspy Voice 3 weeks PP

I uad my little boy 3 weeks ago and since his birth, my voice has changed dramatically.
Now it sounds raspy and harsh like I have the flu or something. It doesn't hurt, but it sounds like I have a sore throat.

I enjoy singing, I always have, but now I sound like I'm about to loose my voice when I try lol.

Has anyone heard of this happening?

I did indeed need a general as my epidural stopped working half way through my section.

Sometimes thyroid problems can alter your voice. I had a friend who had this after having a baby and needed medication. Worth getting your voice checked if it hasn't improved by now.

Interesting timing

My voice has become very raspy while pregnant, as though I am losing my voice (but no other pain or symptoms).

I have put it down to the fact that my craving is ice and that the ice is numbing my vocal cords, changing them. Would that be reasonable or am I clutching at straws?

I had an op end of June and my voice still isn't back to normal.
